Hello from New Jersey! I flew back on Friday afternoon to spend some time with my family and it was really nice to have a weekend to unwind and spend lots of time outside. I brought Callie back east with me and she’s been loving having a huge yard to run around in and my family’s pups to play with – we spent most of the afternoon yesterday outside reading on the hammock (just finished ‘How to Murder Your Life!‘) while she lounged in the sun and rolled in the grass. Dog heaven!

The warm weather and some upcoming travel plans have me in a summer mood, which you can definitely see in May’s Cravings roundup. I’m heading to El Paso, Texas on Friday for a work trip over Memorial Day weekend to the Neon Desert music festival and just ordered a new pair of sunglasses and denim shorts to pack for the trip.
